H. Peter Steeves is a professor of philosophy at DePaul University where he
specializes in ethics, social/political philosophy, and phenomenology. Steeves’
books include, Founding Community: A Phenomenological-Ethical Inquiry
(1998); Animal Others (1999); The Things Themselves: Phenomenology and the
Return to the Everyday (2006); and Whacking the Sopranos (2012).
