Begins where Civilization ends, interstellar colonization. Otherwise based on similar paradigms as previous games. Sid Meier's Civilization III, Firaxis, 2001. The newest attempt to update to original, combining ideas from all the earlier games to create a simulation that reifies the frontier in as powerful a fashion as possible.
