JUICING
Raw Juice Bar
Have you ever heard of pitaya or dragon
fruit? Raw juice bar has and they are
passionate about taking these and other
fresh and nutrient-rich fruit and vegetables,
pummeling them and making them into
healthy and delicious juices, smoothies,
treats and meals.
A relative newcomer on the Bajan scene,
Raw Juice Bar, located in Quayside Centre
on the South Coast, is already developing
quite a fan base for its nutrient-dense juice
and shot bar and clean eats; the highlights
of which are its cold-pressed juices and
smoothies. Some of the favorites include
“Shades of Green”, a sweet yet tangy fusion
of kiwi, broccoli, cucumber, kale and apple.
Another delicious option is the “Chocolate Lovers” smoothie, which is a delicious combination of banana, strawberries, hemp protein, flax
seed and dark chocolate almond milk.
“Live Life Balanced!” is the philosophy behind owners, Sophie & Jake Corbin’s healthy and sensible approach to nutrition. Jake says that his
favorite thing about the bar is “walking in and smelling the goodness of the fresh fruit.”
The store offers a grab-and-go fridge with healthy meals such as the Feta Cranberry Lentil salad and the famous Zoodles, which is a pasta made
of slivers of zucchini noodles with cashew sauce, full of protein and fibre. There are also a variety of acai smoothie bowls and parfaits that
have attracted a loyal following from the breakfast crowd. These are an affordable option for daily dining.
Seating is provided in the shade of Quayside’s extensive outdoor dining area.
The Raw Juice Bar is open daily from 7am to 7pm, you can find them on Facebook at Raw Juice Barbados or they can be contacted at

EXERCISE
LIVITY YOGA
Walk up the winding staircase of the Timothy Oulton store at the Millhouse Complex and you will find the Livity Yoga studio tucked away in the
Western corner, its all-wood, grounding ambience beckoning you to come and be one with yourself and with the earth. “Transformation” is the word
of this particular week- colorfully printed on a chalk board, reminding patrons that we need to transform to “learn and to grow, open to love… is
the essence of evolution.”
