Since fees differ, I can only give you an approximate amount you need to save
before shooting with a reputable photographer.
A photographer will cost you between $300 - $500 for him/her alone and also
depends on how many looks you are shooting and whether “photoshop” services
are included.
Hair and makeup will be between $300 - $500 depending on how many looks. It
may be more cost effective to hire someone that does both hair and makeup.
Wardrobe styling will be between $300 - $600 depending on how many looks and
total, but are you getting the best for your shoot? Was the makeup, hair and styling
what it should have been? Will the images you shot impress an agency or client to
book you?
At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. It’s best to wait and save your money
before shooting. Images are your resume and if your resume is not impressive, then
you will not make a good impression on anyone who you present your photos to.
