The plus industry is an amazing and progressive industry! This industry is full of talented,
creative and innovative people and we represent the average woman in America. We are the
majority and our voice matters. We are breaking down barriers in fashion and bridging the gap
between plus size and straight size. High end designers are now adding plus options and creating
collections just for plus size women and huge brands are now carrying plus size clothing when
they didn’t years ago. This industry is growing and changing constantly for the better!

Who are your favorite plus designers, models, bloggers and/or celebrities?

Some plus designers I love and hope to work with one day are Monif C., Eloquii, Jibri & Hips
and Curves. I also like larger brands such as Ashley Stewart, Fashion to Figure, Forever 21 Plus
& Torrid. My favorite bloggers are Chante of EverythingCurvyandChic, Nicole of Curves on a
Budget, Essie Golden and Shaina of Thick Girl’s Closet.

Where do you see yourself in the next year?

In the next year, I see myself coming out of the development stages of modeling and becoming
a more seasoned model. I have worked at my craft and improved greatly over the past two years.
I feel way more comfortable in front of the camera and confident in my ability to deliver great
shots. I definitely want to build and add more diversity to my portfolio and test with a variety of
photographers within the next year. I entered the modeling world at a size 18 and I’m currently
working on going down to a curvy size 14. I would like to do more e-comm/ print work and would
like more fit modeling opportunities. I love the plus industry and I plan on being in it for many
years to come. The sky is the limit!
