It’s the one day almost every girl dreams about. To stand in front
of your family and friends and confess your love for your one and
only. All eyes on you as you take one slow step after another in
your fairytale wedding gown, that you have been stressing over for
weeks, months, years (or days). Sweeping up your last moments
of being a Ms., for the next time you walk, you’ll be a Mrs. You’ll
look your soon-to-be life partner in the eyes, possibly shed a tear
(ball your eyes out with joy). Not too much though, otherwise you
will spoil your makeup, but enough to let your loved one know that
you will never be alone again.

You’ll hold hands palm in palm, nervously say (stutter) your
wedding vowels and finally seal the deal with a kiss!

Ahhhh, the kiss!!!

Whether you see yourself as the marrying kind or not, we all have
imagined what it would be like.

I guess by now, you can see that I’m a romantic. But in saying that,
whilst I want a big extravaganza, I also want something different. I
don’t want me to be in the spotlight, I want US to be in the spotlight.
After all, this is a joint union. It’s a day where we become one. Why
should people make a fuss over me and not him? After all, he is
paying for it. Ha-ha kidding!
