How long is too long to wait for my modeling career to take off?
I could not possibly answer this for you because everyone’s journey is different.
My best advice for you would be to consider what your ultimate goal is. Sometimes
I find people want to become models to be role models but being a model is a
job and not one that automatically makes you a role model. If you decide that
modeling full-time is no longer something you wish to do, please explore other
options. Makeup artist, hair stylist, stylist, PR, marketing and producers are
some of the jobs that will keep you in the industry without having to be a model.

It seems like most models have an hourglass figure, do I have a shot if I’m not
shaped this way?
It does seem that way and I believe that it is because we have been conditioned
to deem hourglass bodies as beautiful. There are some very popular models that
are not hourglass such as Candice Huffine, Fluvia Lacerda and Tess Holliday. If
you are committed to perfecting your craft and spending the time and effort to do
so then this should not be a concern.
