But when I saw the positive response I was getting and not to mention the major
lack of racial and body diversity in the industry, it made sense to channel my
passion and hobby into a platform where I could share my voice and combine my
love for writing and fashion and ultimately encourage women of all shapes and
sizes to have fun with fashion.

What fashion trends are you excited about?

I’m really excited about anything and everything Ashley Nell Tipton. I love her
ultra modern feminine designs and I’m sure she will dominate the fashion world
in 2016 and beyond. I’m also excited to try more minimalist looks. Sometimes
when you’re larger you may feel that you have to be uber-glam all the time to look
stylish. But I love the idea of creating simple, timeless looks that are unexpected
on a bigger silhouette.
