We had three weeks to create designs , find fabric and make sure the support was everything women like ourselves needed . They really let us be as creative as we wanted to be . I forever love them for that . I feel like we created pieces that we didn ’ t see available to plus size women . Chante ’ s style is completely different from mine and it really worked out because we created pieces for every woman ’ s style . To see women wearing designs I created has been truly amazing and inspiring . It makes me want to create more . There will be one more collection with Rebdolls and that will be announced very soon .
What is next for Essie Golden and # GoldenConfidence ?
So many great things are happening for me . I can ’ t share them yet but besides some major projects , I hope to continue to inspire women to love themselves and also help create opportunities for other women to shine .
My goal for Golden Confidence is to bring the pool parties to an international level . I would love to do one in Toronto or even London . I ’ m dreaming big . I want to do more events that bring women and industry leaders together to continue to educate each other in a positive space .
