I had no idea that there was a big plus size industry or the
use of plus size models in Germany until my participation in
the model contest, but in the last three years I have noticed
a change. The plus size industry has become more and
more popular and particularly this year the plus size scene
has been made famous through television, magazines and
blogs. It is a fast-growing industry and more labels design
plus size collections now.

Very multifaceted. I like the fact, in contrast to the ‘normal’
fashion scene, that more people can identify with the
models.

If you could pick the perfect plus modeling campaign for
yourself, whom would you want to work for?

Fortunately, I had the great opportunity to work for one of
my favorite labels from Denmark, Carmakoma. It was a
wonderful day with a lovely team, beautiful make-up and a
brilliant photographer. The pictures are awesome. For me
this was the perfect plus modeling campaign.
