What was it that attracted you to Amoena?
For over 35 years Amoena has been improving women’s quality of
life after breast surgery and the company’s mission really resonated
with me because they stand for something so important. It’s really
exciting to be part of an organization whose mission is to be a
companion throughout every woman’s life, especially after a breast
cancer diagnosis. The mission is meaningful and speaks volumes
to me, and I’m also excited about some of the developments the
Amoena brand is working on.
With your background in apparel, what do you hope to bring to
Amoena in the near future?
With my background in retail sales and my proven success in
elevating and building brands, I’m looking forward to sharing some
of my expertise. Amoena is in the midst of continuing to provide
fashionable lingerie and swimwear that meet our core customer’s
needs, while also developing into a lifestyle brand. It is important to
us to stay true to our heritage, but have heard from women all over
the world that they want leisure, active and nightwear that meet their
needs and still look fashionable.
I was at the photo shoot with Fluvia Lacerda for the Amoena
PMM cover & editorial and I think the initial thought was that we
would be shooting very safe lingerie, but she was so excited
about everything she was wearing and watching her reaction
really made an impression on me, most importantly because the
fit was so perfect.
