What made you decide to become a plus size model?
I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on March 30,
2008. One day, after my chemo treatment, I decided to write a
bucket list of all the things I wanted to do. I was cast for NJFFFW
and have been addicted ever since. I modeled as a child and I
walked in my first fashion show at age 4. I also was in the Miss
America Co-Ed pageant at the age of 16.

We are so excited that you recently modeled for Ashley Stewart!
How did that come about and how does it feel?
Research, hard work, and determination. I’m still on cloud 9! I keep
looking at the site to see if this is real. It’s humbling to see myself on
a site for such a big company.

Who are your favorite curvy role models?
Denise Bidot, Tricia Campbell, Tiffany Bank, Jeannie Ferguson and
Nicole Zepeda.

Continually changing for the better.

If you could pick the perfect plus modeling campaign for
yourself, whom would you want to work for?
I would want to work for Cover Girl. This has always been a dream
of mine and I want the world to know that we curvy girls have arrived
and we are beautiful.

What are your dreams, desires and goals as a plus model?
