Mackenzie: Steadily growing and blossoming. There was a great plus size shop called ‘No Skinny’ that I modeled for at age 14 that had the younger plus girl in mind, but they closed and it seemed there weren’t many options. So I rely on Torrid, Forever 21, and ASOS online. The designers here are slowly starting to keep the double-digit women in mind. For example, Portland Fashion Week had plus models on the runway. One of my favorite local designers is Kenneth Doswell of Betty Jean Couture. He makes flawless, beautiful, tailored clothing for plus sizes. His show was the first I had ever been in, and it was so fabulous. I am also a Spokesmodel for the Portland Local Girls Fashion Project, which helps girls of all body types, who may have barriers in their life, with access to local insiders in the industry. I also just became Teen Oregon Plus USA, which I hope will bring more awareness for the younger plussize girls in my state. Tiffany: Finish this sentence: The plus industry is...
