You’ve been represented by several agencies over the past few years. What advice
do you have for aspiring models looking for an agency?

Signing with an agency is a big commitment. Before you take that big step, you should really
do your research. Talk to other models signed on their board, read their contracts very carefully
and know what you’re getting yourself into. Also, never be afraid to ask your prospective agent
questions.

Modeling looks very glamorous from an outside perspective. What did you learn
about the industry that you did not know before?

I learned almost immediately that you must spend money before you get to make money. Starting
out, you pay for a lot of different things: test shoots, comp cards, portfolios, etc. However, you
don’t see a lot of that money back for a while. If you’re really passionate and dedicated, it’s worth
it in the long run. It’s like that with any career.

Could you share your top 3 beauty must haves?

I’m kind of addicted to Revlon’s Color Burst Matte Balm. I have it in 5 colors. The second would
have to be Surface Push Powder. I have a pretty thin, flat head of hair, so I like to push a little
bit of this powder into my scalp as my last step just to give me a little volume. And the last one
would be my Lush perfume, Lust. It has the perfect hint of jasmine and I smell like fresh flowers
all day.

We know that you work with children at a camp. We would love to know more about
this. How long have you been working with Camp Pocono Trails?
