Planner Junkie / October, 2016 11
Every November thousands of would-be writers gather in one online community to take on the impossible. The goal is to write 50,000 words in just 30 days. Taken day by day, that's 1,667 words every day of the month.
For the planner-obsessed, this opens up a whole world of planning. There are calendars and word trackers, you can create an outline of your novel in your bullet journal. Maybe you want to carve out a block of time each day that is your writing time. There are so many things you can use to help you achieve your 50,000 word goal.
On the next page, we've provided a tracker for you to use. It includes both a daily 1,667 count, and a cumulative "where you should be today" word count tracker.
If you plan to participate in NaNoWriMo, good luck and happy writing! (And just breathe!)
