A pickleball player
walks into a bar.
After a tough session of matches, he needs a drink to
relax and reflect on his playing that day. He sits down at
the bar at the far end of the counter. As he waits to order
his drink, he stares, head down, at the counter, totally
lost in thoughts of the day’s volleys, dinks, lobs, drop
shots, around-the-post shots, overtime matches, you
name it. When the bartender finally arrives and barks,
“What’ll ya have?”, the pickleball player is startled out of
his mental fog, looks up, and replies,
“Uh, 7 and 7 ... I’m a one.”
