Advanced Drama
Advanced Drama is an advanced course designed to develop students in
the various elements of the theatre. Students will explore the role that
acting, directing, sound, lights, set, costumes, make-up, and publicity
play in the creation of theatrical productions; this class will produce
several shows during the course of the semester. Students will continue
to work on their comfort level on stage, through warm-ups, monologues,
scene work and improvisation. Advanced techniques of movement,
vocal support, character development, and performance will be
emphasized.
Pre-requisites: This course requires Fundamentals of Drama OR
director approval.
