Fully compliant with BS EN 61340-51:2007 and ATEX, the coatings contain carbon nanotubes and graphene. Giving light transmission of around 85% and surface resistivity of <107 ohms/sq the acrylic coating, available in paint or aerosol form, can be applied to in-situ light fittings, windows, clear covers and lids to provide a permanently conductive surface. For more flexible surfaces made of polyurethane, P C and rubbers such as flexible monitors, the clear flexible polyurethane coating eliminates static in sensitive areas. For flooring applications the water based epoxy gives excellent mechanical properties which will withstand abrasion, impact and has good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including oils, fats, solvents, acids and alkalis. Permanently conductive, the paint is particularly suited to ATEX environments where the risk of explosion through static spark is high.
