Creating strong connections stablished in 1988, ATP specialises in developing and manufacturing client-specific adhesive products. Renowned for their range of superior quality products, the company develops and produces solvent free, pressure sensitive and heat activated adhesive tapes and films up to 2,250mm in width. E With an established, worldwide distribution network and modern manufacturing capability, ATP supplies to a variety of industry segments including automotive, transportation, foam, graphic, electronics, plastics, speciality labels, medical and building and construction. “ATP always strives to exceed customer expectations by developing customer aligned solutions which offer technical advantages competitively and quickly,” commented Segment Manager, Richard Simpson. “ATP is a very customer focussed organisation. Because we formulate and prepare all our own adhesives, we have the ability to customise solutions for our customers and can produce bespoke products which satisfy their exact requirements.” The company have developed a new innovative range of low emission adhesive tapes and films which are capable of bonding a wide variety of materials used in the production of automobile components including foamed plastics, nonwoven acoustic insulation, seals and gaskets, anti-rattle felts, electronic components and sensors, decorative trims, door panels, headliners and textile components. The target of the new development was to fulfil the widest spectrum of bonding performance whilst realising the lowest possible adhesive emissions according to VDA275, VDA 277 and VDA278. These new adhesive tapes can be supplied in rolls from 10mm up to 2,250mm or as die cut pieces, the products offer customers a wide choice of adhesive without compromising bonding performance. “We work privately with our The target of the new development was to fulfil the widest spectrum of bonding performance whilst realising the lowest possible adhesive emissions 56 PECM Issue 17 customers to formulate solutions that are unique to them.
