Major re-brand for long-standing technological business A well-known Yorkshire business, with a reputation spanning over 20 years, has undergone a major re-brand following a period of growth and a change in management. Opentree, formerly tsaADVET, provides document management software for sectors such as oil and gas, steel, manufacturing, rail and energy and is one of the longest established businesses of its kind in the UK. Andrew Frank has been involved with the business since its inception in 1992 and took over sole management in 2014 and now has full ownership. Star Refrigeration, the largest independent cooling and heating contractor in the UK, designed and installed two modular coldstore Azanechiller packages and a chillstore Azanefreezer package, both with spare refrigeration capacity to accommodate future additional load. Since then, turnover has grown by almost 50% and Andrew has added five new staff, now employing a team of 16, with plans to create five new jobs in the coming months. In addition, Andrew has re-branded the business to ‘Opentree’ and launched a successful second office in Sheffield to cope with demand in the area. www.star-ref.co.uk Tel: +44 (0)1642 714471 AUMA UK achieves Wessex Water approved supplier status Falling energy costs will encourage investment in future energy security AUMA UK, which has been an established supplier of electric actuators to Wessex Water for over a decade, achieved approved supplier status from the utility on 3rd March 2015.
