What are your favorite spots to go for
lunch with friends?
I’m in love with Launderette for happy
hour, dinner and brunch. For lunch,
I’ve been loving the Counter Cafe (photo
left) on East 6th lately.

What about a favorite for date night dinner?
Justine’s Brasserie.

What are the top places to listen to live
music in Austin?
addicted to music that I stayed in Austin. Shooting portraits, editorial, album
covers and touring with bands followed
soon after. I loved it and still do.
When the first ACL Fest came about, the
owners of Stubb’s asked me to shoot the
festival. That grew into my current position as photo director at C3 Presents. I
love feeling the energy that comes along
with live music. It’s an addiction. The
day I stop shooting music is the day
my legs don’t work anymore.

My most current project is shooting
and working as the photo director for
the festivals that C3 Presents produces
all over the country (and some internationally). It’s crazy, but it’s a blast. 

Austin is changing, and many great
venues have unfortunately closed in
the last few years. I love to see shows
at Mohawk, Stubb’s, ACL Live at the
Moody Theater, The Continental Club,
The Saxon Pub, Cactus Cafe (photo below)
and Sahara Lounge.
