Linton and Scott’s Heroes for Children
is inspiring more ideas. HFC’s staff
and volunt eers are continuing to create
programs that will serve children of all
ages and backgrounds, while continuing to raise funds to meet the families’
needs. Families such as the Farrells
hope to someday become a part of the
giving because they have been greatly
touched by receiving a gift.
“We are so grateful for everything
Heroes for Children has done for us,”
said Farrell. “Our hope is that after

And what keeps these women motivated? “Sometime it can feel like we
are just a bandaid for the many things
that a family is facing,” said Linton
“But when I was reading the letters
that we receive from families that
we have helped, it reminds me that
so much help is needed. And that so
many need to be reminded that they,
too, can get through this.” n
