Editor’s Page The North Carolina mountains are near and dear to my heart as we live less than two hours away. During our steamy southern summers, this is a real treat as it is usually about 20 degrees cooler. Fall is an especially wonderful time of year in the mountains with crisp air and leaves changing to brilliant hues of yellow, orange and red.
