46 For those that have been playing paintball for any length of time you are probably familiar with Virtue Paintball not just because of the popularity of their relatively new VIO Goggles and Spire Loaders, but because of their very popular line of Virtue boards. If you’re really old school you may even remember that Chris Williams, owner of Virtue Paintball, used to own and run the website PBStar.com. Needless to say this is not a new company to paintball but a seasoned company that understands the game and the market. This year’s Paintball Extravaganza saw more than 60 companies exhibiting their latest and greatest products and there were many “hot spots” at the show. One of those was the Virtue Paintball booth where paintball field and store owners stopped in one by one all week. We caught up with Chris just after the Extravaganza to chat ab out Virtue Paintball, their products and the Paintball Extravaganza. Chris, what were some of the new products you brought to the Paintball Extravaganza this year? Complete line of custom VIO goggles and straps with tens of thousands of different combinations. We showed off our customizer software that allows you to build and customize your own goggle online, and also in the shop as we have given the software to our dealers. The real strength of the VIO is that it’s extremely comfortable, while still being light weight. We kept a tight profile, while still being bigger and offering more protection than the other small goggles on the market. But the real strength of the VIO is the extensive amount of customization options. It’s super easy to change out the lens, facemask or strap and we have 30 facemask, 12 frame, and 9 lens colors to choose from. The fact the everything on the VIO is removable and replaceable from the facemask to the foam, means we have even more customization options planned for the future. Complete line of Spire 200s and Spire 260s available in over 40 color and size combinations, the smallest and highest capacity loaders in paintball -- the 260 is still smaller even though it holds up to 45% more paint than the leading competitors. The Spire is just a little over a year old and is on fire as the best choice no matter what kind of paint you’re using. The Spire will feed it all without skipping a beat while other loaders are jamming up. I can’t tell you my how many people I’ve had come up to me complaining about other hoppers jamming with this or that paint so Special PBX Edition
