Do you think the vendors were equally
pleased with the event?
Very positive feedback has been received at
the event and during this past week from
exhibitors on the new venue and the overall event. Business was done at the event
which is a good indicator that the paintball
industry and the economy may be making
the long awaited turn around.
Was this year’s event larger or different
in any other way than previous years?
After a winter of very severe weather
though out much of the country we were
very concerned regarding the attendance at
the event. Business registrations were at
the same level of the 2013 event with overall attendance up by approximately 100.
This indicates that more stores and fields
brought employees to the event. The event

also saw the return of a couple past exhibitors and many new businesses including
exhibitors, stores and fields.
How much work goes into this yearly
event?
The event has gone from a hobby in 2005
to nearly a full time job that goes into the
next year’s planning a couple weeks after
the current event is concluded. The staff of
the event is made up of friends and relatives that come together each year to provide a smooth set up and registration experience for all exhibitors, dealers and field
owners. As in any event, there are many
pieces that need to be planned and coordinated including, but not limited to securing
facility, exhibitors, classes, seminars, attendee registrations, event directory, drawings, set up and tear down.
