The Final Pro Game
The first point of the finals was like watching
two different games. Both teams came out
aggressively and both lost bodies in a flurry
of mini battles. Then as eight players walked
off the field we were left with a two-minute,
painfully slow one-on-one which ended in
a Vicious point. In the second point Vicious
took ground quickly, eliminating three Infamous players and pushing the two remaining
players to the back line at the two minute
mark. A few many too aggressive moves cost
Vicious as Infamous took the second point
with two bodies alive. Once again Vicious
came out strong for point number three, taking the snake and crossing the “50” less than
a minute in. A failed bunker attempt on the
part of the Vicious snake player put them in
a hole though. Infamous pushed back hard
taking the point.
Up 2-1 and feeling it, Infamous dominated
the next point making quick work of the aggressive Vicious breakout. Infamous then
scored their fourth point in less than a minute
as Vicious once again probably over-extended on their breakout. Although Vicious was
able to score two more points, the game was
really dominated by Infamous, who would
win the game 7-3 and be crowned Dallas pro
champions in 2014.
In the Challengers division it was obvious
quickly that Art Chaos is going to be a force
to be reckoned with, and probably for some
time. In their four preliminary round games
it looked like only Art Chaos was allowed to
play with guns. Their game scores were 7-0,
