Torture and Captain PJ
Forcier, Blue Teams’ assigned Command Team.
They handed the NVA/
VC a giant “goose egg,”
Mission Masters’ term
for a zero mission score.
They scored a full seven
points by capturing all
three tunnel locations
(possessed by the NVA/
VC at mission start)
and hanging the U.S.
Army flag at the NVA/VC
headquarters. This mission established what
would follow: a vast lead
for the majority of the
day by the U.S. Army.
By the close of mission
four – “The Ho Chi Minh
Trail” – the Pittsburgh
Torture had pulled Team
Blue to a whopping 25-8
lead over the Legion of
Assassins-led Red Team,
a seemingly impossible
gap to make up in just
three missions given the
low point values up for grabs.
But impossible is what Mission
Masters specializes in, and their
games almost always find the
underdog rallying a comeback
(with varying success rates).
But by mission five, a change in
the wind was detected…
