44 only loss was to VcK. In the pro Challenger semifinals it was a comfortable win for Russia’s Art Chaos over LA Infamous 7-4. In the other bracket Houston VcK squeaked out a win over the other Russian pro team left in the division, Red Storm, by a score of 6-5. In the finals it was a rematch of VcK versus Art Chaos, who would try to avenge their earlier loss. This time Art Chaos was so dominant that the match seemed over before VcK realized they were playing in the finals. The final score was 7-1 Art Chaos, but not even the score is indicative of how dominating Art Chaos was in this game. Both Art Chaos and Houston VcK will be moving up to the professional Champions Division starting with the West Coast Open in Riverside, California next month. Nineteen teams entered Chicago’s Division One RaceTo-5. Interestingly five teams ran through the preliminary round without a loss and another five finished without a win. TradeMyGun Outlaws, Distortion, Syracuse Rhythm, AC Dallas and the New York Outlaws each won (or tied) all of their first round games. Carolina Collision, DC Devastation, NE Avalanche and the RNT All Stars each had only one loss. When all was said and done TradeMyGun Outlaws went wire to wire without a loss to get to the finals, beating NE Avalanche in the quarterfinals and the New York Outlaws in the semifinals. Distortion mirrored that with undefeated prelims, quarterfinals and semifinal rounds as well. In the finals it was as close as expected as Distortion bested TradeMyGun Outlaws by a score of 5-4 o win the event in Division One.
