92 Ryan Levin Hello Ryan, It’s been a couple of months since you launched the Morph Fire conversion kit for the Spyder. How did the launch go? The Spyder launch went well! We went to the Tippmann challenge in Hell MI. for our first public release. We rented a mobile digital billboard and parked it conveniently in front of the chronograph area so EVERYONE could see our videos and our Morph Fire. As with any new product release, especially initial exposure to a totally new concept, we had to explain it to folks. We explained this is not airsoft…this is something completely new…“AIRHARD”. Then the knowledge dividends started to come. We started fielding lots of questions from the players like: Is Spyder your only conversion? No, more are coming. We are finishing our Tippmann 98 and A5 conversion system. january 2014 Why would I buy this over a milsim or airsoft gun? This isn’t airsoft, this is AirHard! Nothing you can buy for 159.99 will alter your marker in such radical and powerful ways! You will pay $700-1000 for something remotely comparable. Have you thought about making a Tippmann conversion? Yes, we recognize that Tippmann is and has been an industry leader and one of the most prolific manufacturers of markers. Therefore we knew we must make an adaptation for it. If so… could a field owner convert his Tippmann 98 or A5 to Airsoft play? Yes! This is a particular niche for our product that we had never even thought of until five separate field owners came up to us suggesting that very same thing. The common theme was that paintball fields were warming up to airsoft crossover and that they were spending up to 2 hours daily just repairing the Airsoft guns, plus batteries, plus outlay for guns… but now they can “re-tool” their rental guns for this second life and purpose. This was a huge take away from our initial product offering. What’s been the response when you’ve shown the Morph Fire at events recently?
