I’m working on the most. Finding the gaps or
opportunities in a paintball game to make a
huge important move. I like hearing the crowd
yell and cheer.
Lastly being a good pro is being a good teammate. Caring for your guys on and off the field
is huge. I like to call my teammates and keep
up with them and make sure everyone is well.
It’s important to let your team know you care
and you really are a team player. Paintball is
like family. We are lucky to do what we do
with the people we love to do it with. I always
remember that every day. I am lucky.
Josh: When you’re all done competing at the professional level in paintball, what do you think you’ll be most
remembered for? If you could pick
something to be remembered for as
a world-class paintball player what
would it be?
James: I think when I am done I’ll be remembered for being one of or maybe the first Pro
paintball player ever with Multiple Sclerosis.
And if I could pick what I would be remembered for it would be that I truly live love and
die by the idea of always having a wild crazy
kid in my heart and soul and that I always had
the will to fight ‘til I die.
Lastly I want to be remembered for the fact that
I will always believe paintball will be on television one day and stick around! Not to mention
it will also be very well produced! Paintball
webcasts are ready making this inch closer
and closer to a reality!
Josh: When you’re not playing paintball what do you with your time?
Work? School?
James: I like to watch really good television
production or funny comedies and relax at
my house. I just moved to Nashville so when I
have time and extra money to spend I like to
go have a drink and listen to some music with
my friends. Nashville is filled with beautiful
girls so it’s a nice place to be social.
I currently am transitioning between jobs from
a smoothie shop to a furniture moving company as a move coordinator. So life is just
constantly changing at the moment! And I am
excited about my new job! I am blessed to
be getting a solid job here in Nashville. Did I
mention I have all my weekends off for paintball? That alone is huge.
And recently I’ve been helping and planning a
kick starter campaign that Chattanooga CEP is
working on.
Josh: To those young players out
there aspiring to play paintball at the
highest levels, what advice would
you give? What should players focus
on, on and off the field, to be their
very best?
James: I think the younger kids are playing
soft these days! Get crazy on the field and
take some 50 bunkers off the break! Have fun
and take risks! You don’t earn the right to play
world class paintball by sitting in the back corner and shooting one person out a v
