Darryl Trent has paid his
dues in paintball both as
a player and member of
the industry. As an early
member o f the original
Ironmen that won more
tournaments than you can
count without a calculator
and then as a member of
the powerhouse all Americans team in the late 90s
and 2000s, Darryl was
a player at the highest level for a long time.
Likewise his contributions to the game at
Smart Parts and Luxe over the years have also
left their mark. We caught up to Darryl for a
few minutes to ask him how things were going
with Luxe and to see if we could steal a nugget

Darryl, what can you tell us about the
new DLX Luxe OLED?

Luxe with a few changes. The OLED will have

the fly by using the standard trigger mode
sets used on most guns with LCDand OLED
screens.

How many teams are you now sponsoring?
DLX is proud to sponsor PSP Pro teams such
as Houston Heat, Art Chaos and Seattle Thunder, along with teaming up with GI sports
promoting their Platinum program, supporting several lower division teams throughout
the league.
What are you most looking forward to
in 2014?
It’s going to be a great year in 2014. Some key
things we look forward to seeing are Art Chaos brining their talent from Europe to the US
and competing in the PSP. And we are very
excited to see Houston Heat’s new roster as
they have brought in some very familiar faces
and some very good talent.
It will also now come with a new zipper style
hard case for easier storage and provide four
Freak inserts , allowing the player to have a
better selection on their bore sizes.
How are things going in general with
the Luxe and the company?
DLX has been busy working on several new
