In the early 1990s when I played for Phantom Force (based in Virginia) I first met Dan when we played his team, also called Phantom Force, in Dallas, Texas. Dan can you give our readers a brief history of the Supergame and your promoting experience? How has Supergame been doing? Are you still running two games each year? The first SuperGame was held in 1989 by Bob Shano. This will be the 47th SuperGame of which I produced 35 of them. I’ve also run over 50 major regional tournaments (GWS, PanAm Circuit, and XPSL), and dozens of smaller tournaments and big games. SuperGame is now once a year. We have been growing between 10-20% each year for the past 10 years. We had 1250 players each day last year and we are expecting 1500 players each day for the 2014 Supergame.
