102 What about the tournament game of paintball could be done better? Honestly, if the politics could get dropped, it could do wonders to help legitimize paintball. That could only help progress the sport, both here, and worldwide. Have you played in any national-level events? Our tank crew of the Serenity wouldn’t sit well if we missed a DDay, and I am actually the Kommander for the German Special Force unit, the Geisterjagers (SHOCKER!!). We also are making plans to join our former German Field Marshal, Andy Wofford, in the Horde this year at Living Legends. What is your favorite event of the year? I usually look forward to DDay every year, because it is the one time of the year that all our friends across the country gather together in one place, and it is usually THE game that even our teammates with the tough schedules try and manage to make. What about the scenario/woodsball side of the game of paintball could be done better? A standardization of the special rules & roles you find in the scenario world. Every time you play a new field or game, you have to find out the same things, such as how January 2014 the rules for the Medic position will work, if gun hits count, are shields allowed, what are the tank rules, etc. Do you have a suggestion for introducing more people to our game? If you think about it, even an interested person could find it quite daunting to get into- without help. What do you like about woodsball/ scenario/milsim do you like in comparison to speedball/tournament paintball? All the toys! How else could you find a way to get to use GPS, NV & Thermal cameras, helmet cams, Tanks, Anti-Tank weaponry & launchers, radios, grenades, and the occasional melee weapon? The scenery is always different as you travel to different fields as well, which is nice. What’s the furthest you’ve traveled individually or as a team to play paintball? Well I’ve played in Colombia when visiting in-laws, but as a group
