285 once I put it there, and that was with some
hilarious paint. I shot everything through the
Geo 3.1 I could find, from old Marbalizer and
fresh Evil to Valken Redemption and a bag of
GI Sportz paint that I’m not even sure where
it came from. The Geo 3.1 gobbled it all up
at rates of fire well into the teens in semiautomatic mode, keeping the streams straight, the
groups tight and the consistency dialed-in. Even
in chilly Christmas-season weather with some
moisture in the air, the Geo 3.1 did not break
or chop a single paintball at any time during
our testing and there simply weren’t any problems to report. Though not the most efficient
paintball gun we’ve ever shot, shooting a full
pack was never a problem and our numbers
are well above the 1000 shots per 68 cubic
inch mark, and that was with very hot fills that
rapidly cooled into the high 3000psi range.
Once the marker is broken-in and should a full,
cool fill be available, shooting 1200 or more
shots from the 3.1 on a fill should be no problem at all.
“Eclipse” brand, the new Geo 3.1 proudly
carries forward the Geo name as an outstanding, world-class spool valve marker capable
of doing battle in the pro ranks in the hands of
some of the very best.
