In this back and fourth game Dynasty took the sixth point and were one point from a win and a guaranteed Sunday spot. But as crazy as this game had been since the start, Houston Heat would tie this up at 6. Again fighting for the win the next point was even more tense than the previous. This one came down to a one-on-one between Chad George and Glenn Takemoto with both players making moves to win the game and send their team into Sunday play. The clock ran out during the one-on-one forcing a winner take all overtime point. As Chris LaSoya said, “What a game man... what a game.” For the final point in overtime Dynasty was locked in their back bunkers as time

ran out. In the prelims games can end in a tie after one overtime period and that’s exactly what happened here. The tie however, would send Dynasty home early for the first time all year, while propelling Houston Heat into the Sunday club. What a great game! With Dynasty gone early this would open the rankings door just enough for Tampa Bay Damage, Edmonton Impact and Houston Heat to get a glimpse into. A win by one of these three combined with Dynasty exiting early could really make things interesting at the World Cup. And you already know from their game against Dynasty, Houston Heat was moving on to play on Sunday.
