OKLAHOMA D-DAY, SPECIAL EDITION 2013 As Wednesday Morning came my teammates and I were all excited. Why you ask? Today we would get to fight for control of the V2 rocket. The Rocket is located on a more remote area of the field that doesn’t see action during the main game. It is located at the center point of the field surround on one quarter by a high grass field a T-Shaped intersection to its front and dense brush and forest everywhere else. The mission for both sides is to take a code carried by a “mechanic” and control box into the cab of the rocket, plug in the control box, enter the code, and bunker down until the control box gave the green light for a launch. Both sides always fight hard to surround the rocket and protect their code bearer. This year was looking better than ever! Our muster showed nearly 200 players for each sided and it wasn’t long before they started loading us in Deuces and trucking us out to the field, which was about a 10 minute ride. 56 paintbal
