Scott Hargrove lands on the cover of this
edition of OpenRoad Driver. When I first sat
down with him in my office, I saw a young
auto racer with nothing but upside potential.
It was a leap of faith to invite him to join our
OpenRoad Racing Team, but an educated one.

Scott took home the championship of our
country’s Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge in his
first year.
Decades in age and professions apart, what do these two men have
in common? Passion. Regardless of their forty-year age difference

legendary Le Crocodile Restaurant have been consistently
extraordinary for over thirty years.
Over in the Interior, we take passion seriously as we seek the
perfect pairings of local “passion” wines with the fine chefs of the
Okanagan. As we head towards summer, you can read about my
favourite pairing: Painted Rock’s Red Icon with RauDZ’s “RJB,” a
unique twist on surf and turf. Quite simply, delicious. Also, join us
as our food adventures explore new territory. This is the first time we
list the best eateries in Vancouver that represent “clean” eating. You
might be surprised to see who made the list ... and who didn’t.
So this issue of OpenRoad Driver is dedicated to Passion, starting
with my colleague and fellow YPO member, Graham Robins of A
& A Contract Customs Brokers. We might see him as the epitome
of style in this edition’s fashion feature, but make no mistake. He
works hard every F
