With a goal to double New York’s recycling rate
by 2017 and reduce the amount of garbage sent
to landfills, the Recycle everything campaign
demonstrated that cans, bottles and paper
can have a second life. The campaign featured
the first new recycling decal to be launched
in twenty years, appearing on public bins,
in apartments, homes and public buildings.
