What are Introducers looking for? What kind of deals have you been working on recently? Speed and constant communication are key and they are both things we are very good at. It is actually a two way street because if we don’t like a deal for any reason, we will tell the introducer immediately and this is as important as giving a quick yes. In this sector you have to move quickly so if a deal isn’t going to happen, we need to inform the introducer straight away so they can explore other options. This speed and transparency is what sets us apart from our competitors. Everything from refurbishment of residential property, to auction purchase and development. We are currently looking to fund a conversion of an office block into 42 residential units in Liverpool where all the units have been presold. A loan for the purchase of land and the building of two houses in Rotherham. Providing some short term funding against a car park. We have a flexible approach and will take the time to listen and understand a project before we make a decision. Who is the team? We are headed up by our Director and Seneca co-founder Steve Charnock w it h suppor t from a key team of individuals; Mark Hopton, Natalie Smethurst, Aziz Shan, Paul Fitzsimmons and myself. Each has their own responsibilities, but as we grow we will look to increase the headcount in a measured and controlled manner, as one thing we pride ourselves on is our lean structure. Speed seems to be of the essence in this kind of investment environment? Definitely, we move very swiftly where required. Unlike some of our much larger competitors, we have the ability to react quickly to any situation and in the bridging loan sector, speed can be the difference between winning and losing a deal. 26 | ONSIDE WINTER 2016 Mark Harrison 01942 295 982 [email protected] Mark is Head of Business Development for Seneca Bridging.
