Stan is born and raised out of Chicago, and grew up in the church choir, and began singing in 1969 And started his music career in 1974, When Stan moved to St louis and join a group called the Sharpees. Stan later toured as back up band for Shirley Brown before going solo with his own band , and has done quite well in the industry. Stan has performed in just about every major soul or blues act in the business. Stan has the great ole school flavor & sounds like the Bobby Womack & Teddy Pendergrass style.
