NSGSA AT THE CHRISTMAS MARKET
By: Olivia Moran
When at the Christmas
market, you have to take a
group shot in front of the
giant christmas tree!
On Thursday, December 18th, the NSGSA organized a magical night at the
Toronto Christmas Market, which is an annual month-long festival held
during the holiday season to showcase independent artists and restaurants.
The picturesque Distillery District provided a dreamy backdrop for exploring
one-of-a-kind vendors, food stalls selling tasty treats, and the multiple mulled
wine stations scattered throughout the grounds. Touring of the market was
followed by an amazing dinner at El Catrin. Seated in the cozy outdoor heated
patio, students were able to indulge their inner foodie by ordering off the
impressive menu specializing in Mexican small plates. A big thank you to
everyone who beat the cold to join us!
Staying warm and
eating lots!
