As expected, the submissions for the ‘Spooky Food’ contest were amazing: honourable mentions include carved jack o’l antern cucumbers and sausages wrapped in dough to resemble mummies! Students also showed off their artistic abilities by carving pumpkins, the winner of which was an intricate owl carved by Pedro Huot, Rodney AuYeung, and Marron Law. The great Hallowe’e n costumes in attendance made the battle for Best Costume extremely competitive but ultimately Joseph Jamnik’s spot-on Kramer costume and Olivia Moran’s gumball machine costume tied for the crown. The NSGSA would like to thank everyone who participated in the festivities and all those who purchased a Hallowe’e n O’ Gram!
