The appearance of your child’s first milk
tooth is bound to fill you with delight – after
all it’s one of their first major milestones
and signifies a new stage of development.
Usually, babies cut their first tooth around
five months – however many babies don’t
show any signs for some months after that.
“My daughter’s first tooth appeared at four
months, but my son didn’t have any teeth
until he was 10 months old, and then three
appeared within a fortnight,” says Anna,
mom to 4-year-old Isabelle and 18-month-old
