The Notre Dame band and choir accomplished much in the 2015-2016 school year. Both organizations participated in the TAPPS Solo and Ensemble competition in Lubbock, Texas in late March. The band placed third in the state in Division 2A. Every student who participated received a superior rating in at least one event. In addition to the TAPPS event, both organizations presented a Christmas and a Spring concert for the Notre Dame Community.
The choir was again invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Sounds of the Season Christmas Special, sponsored by one of our local television stations. The choir, also, presented a revue in the spring entitled Fifty Knights Past, which celebrated popular music from the past fifty years, in conjunction with the school’s fiftieth anniversary.
