merica’s aerospace workers build the Advanced F-15s, F/A-18E/F Super Hornets,
CH-47F Chinooks, and a host of other defense products that protect our country and keep
Americans safe on the battlefield. They produce the commercial aircraft, including the
world’s most popular jet — the Boeing 737 — that transports customers to destinations all
around the world. They are now on the cusp of returning crew launch capabilities to Amer-
ican soil while continuing to operate the International Space Station. And they’re building
a rocket that will return the U.S. to the Moon and enable us to explore deep space for the
first time.
Sometimes overlooked in this wealth of aerospace innovation and ingenuity is the vital
role Boeing commercial and defense aircraft play in responding to natural disasters and
search-and-rescue missions.
