comprehensive door and window
Axis hardware range, finished in
copper, for this high-end home in a
lush, natural setting. This pull handle
on one of the home’s many external
and internal sliders provides a taste
of the sculptural, matching hardware
seen throughout the home. Chant is
based in Auckland, New Zealand, but
its custom hardware products are
seen in all the right home projects
here, in Australia, and further afield.
Like the refined jewellery or dress watch that
completes your evening wear, so your door and
window hardware will reflect the calibre of your
home – great design is always in the details.

approached dedicated architectural hardware
specialist Chant to find the best possible choice
for all their window and door hardware. The
doors and handles had to have a consistent look
throughout and be high on function and low on
upkeep, says company owner Graham Chant.

specifiers to find the right handle and hardware
for a project in terms of aesthetics and function.
“Here, they wanted a polished copper finish
and the same style of handle used throughout.
And our popular Axis range was the perfect fit.”
The Axis hardware supplied by Chant in the
warm, weathered metal included pull handles
for the external and internal sliders, casement
fasteners and telescopic stays for the windows,
as well as flush pulls for internal cavity sliders
and lever handles for the hinge doors.
