control it , or trying to get rid of it , puts you in contact with the truth of who you are behind the emotion .
And that ’ s it !
That ’ s all you do . Most of us mistakenly think there is something we need to actively do to heal ourselves , but that ’ s not true . All you need to do is to be that Presence and Awareness and let everything arise and unfold non-judgmentally in that . Each time you do that , you heal at the causal , cellular level .
Of course we all have lots of repressed emotions from early childhood , so this isn ’ t a one-time process . But every time you do it you ’ re healing on a fundamental level , and each step brings you closer to true peace and happiness .
After you do that , you can exercise !
What you need to quit is not exercise itself , but the addiction to using it as an emotional escape , which destroys your health from a holistic perspective .

The other way that exercise is often used in a harmful way is that since many of us find exercise hard and boring , we end up forcing ourselves to do it .
We will ourselves . We motivate ourselves . We yell at ourselves .
But have you ever asked what that is doing to your spiritual aspect of self ?
The reason most people feel uninspired and spiritually disconnected is that they don ’ t have a healthy relationship with themselves . They beat themselves up . They ’ re the tyrant that keeps them enslaved .
What ’ s the solution ? Kindness .

Be kind to yourself . What good is it to have a healthy and fit body if you ’ re not learning the only lesson you ’ re here on earth to learn ? What good is it to feel good physically but feel disconnected spiritually ?

It ’ s the only true religion or spirituality .
Be kind to yourself . What good is it to have a healthy and fit body if you ’ re not learning the only lesson you ’ re here on earth to learn ? What good is it to feel good physically but feel disconnected spiritually ?
To help you be kind to yourself I have a little trick for you : speak to yourself as you would to a young innocent child . Would you yell at them to exercise ? Would you give them a motivational speech ? Would you guilt them for not doing it ?
Of course not .

All you need to do is to be that Presence and Awareness and let everything arise and unfold non-judgmentally in that . Each time you do that , you heal at the causal , cellular level .

You would encourage them gently . You would remind them why it ’ s good for their bodies and lovingly suggest that they do it . And if they resisted , you wouldn ’ t overpower them with an iron will . You would find a way that they could get the benefit while doing something they enjoy .
Who said you have to go to the gym to exercise if you hate doing so ? Find a sport you like and do that . Turn a fun activity into something more physically active . The more kind you are with yourself ,
