years ago, the Kiawah Conservancy was
born as a grassroots movement to preserve
and maintain our Island’s habitat. Thanks
to you, we’ve come a long way. Have a look

Kiawah Island Banding Station
One of the largest and most respected banding stations on
the East coast. Research provides information critical to
preserving and protecting our resident and migratory birds.
A second station opened on Little Bear Island this summer.
