40 years ago on Kiawah Island. Cynthia P. Neal, the
award-winning filmmaker who produced both of
our Legacy of Kiawah videos, filmed the second
video this year on Kiawah Island during
our nesting and hatching season.
Enjoy a discussion by a panel including: Mary
Alice Monroe, best-selling author and dedicated
turtle lady; Kevin Mills, president and CEO of
the South Carolina Aquarium; John Mark Dean,
distinguished professor emeritus, Marine Science
Program, University of South Carolina; Gene
Furchgott, producer of the 1974 loggerhead turtle
video; Rhett Talbert, researcher and presenter
