A non-pro or a youth exhibitor may enter 9 classes at regular price and may enter a 10th class for FREE! This option is available for PRE-ENTRIES ONLY! This option is available to non-pro and youth exhibitors regardless of the number of different horses they exhibit and is based solely on the number of classes in which that non-pro or that youth exhibitor pre-enters. Entries for multiple horses MUST BE RECEIVED TOGETHER in order to credit the exhibitor for the FREE class. Once entries have been received, classes can NOT be substituted, scratched, added or changed in order to qualify for a free class. After the pre-entry deadline, regular post-entry processes and fees apply to any changes or added classes. Equipment, cattle and NSBA charges must still be paid on all classes even if these are assessed in the class in which the non-pro or youth exhibitor does not have to pay the entry fee. ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE There will be a one-time $45 administrative charge, which includes the drug-testing charge for each horse entered. This fee is assessed only one time per horse regardless of the number of classes or division (open, non-pro or youth) in which the horse is entered. For example, if a horse is entered in youth or non-pro classes and open classes, only $45 is due. For further clarification see DRUG TESTING. PAYMENT PROCEDURES All entries must be made payable to the ApHC in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. Payment may be made in the form of personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, money order or wire transfer. ApHC does not accept DiscoverCard or American Express as a form of payment. If you are paying by debit or credit card it is advisable to contact your bank or credit card issuer in advance about charges in excess of $200 (or your bank card daily limit) to avoid the charge being declined for security reasons. Cards declined by the bank will be treated as insufficient funds and may result in your horse being excluded from the program and/or late stall penalties or post entry fees being assessed. Any check returned to the ApHC office due to insufficient funds will require certified funds and payment of a returned check charge in order for entries or stall reservations to be processed. If the customer has not paid all charges for returned checks prior to the show, the agent/owner must bring certified funds to the show office for the entries to be processed. The ApHC must collect funds for entries and/or stalls in which the credit card was declined or in which a check has been returned due to insufficient funds before processing entries or stall reservations. The date at which funds are secured for declined credit cards or insufficient funds checks will be acknowledged as the date the entries and/or stall reservations are received and processed. Post entry fees and late stall charges may be assessed to entries or stall reservations for which funds have been declined and which have not been cleared prior to the pre-entry deadline. CHECK-IN PROCEDURES As you arrive at Will Rogers Memorial Center, please consider the following check-list to help you get your horse checked in, safely stalled and ready to show. 20 1. Check into the stall office (Moncrief Building) – provide stall office personnel with the name of your horse and the name of the person listed as “stalled with” on the stall reservation form you originally submitted. The stall manager will give you a stall ledger listing your stall number(s) and give you directions to your stalls. If you purchase a stall at the show it must be paid for at the time the request is made. Please keep your ledger as proof of purchase to present in the show office when picking up your exhibitor packet. If you have received a confirmation letter in which a horse is listed as “not stalled”, it will be necessary to purchase or confirm the purchase of a stall for the horse and provide the stall ledger to the show office when picking up your exhibitor packet. 2. Check into the show office (Richardson/Bass Building) – To pick up your exhibitor packet that includes your exhibitor numbers, you must present the following items at the show office: a. The horse’s original Certificate of Registration. (PHOTOCOPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) b. Your current (within 30 days) health certificate dated on or after May 25, 2014, c. Your current (within 12 months) proof of negative Coggins signed by a licensed veterinarian dated on or after June 23, 2013, d. Your stall ledger given to you upon checking in with the stall office (only if your horse is listed as “Not Stalled” on your entry confirmation letter) and e. Properly completed lodging form – available online or in the show office. 3. Check your horse through the Inspection Station (Burnett Building) – Take your horse, the horse’s original Certificate of Registration and your exhibitor’s packet (that includes your exhibitor numbers) to the inspection station.
